What's Your Biggest DVD Pet Peeve?
Poorly placed RSDL breaks.
Pan & Scan and/or two-sided (flipper) titles.
Not enough DVD rental locations nearby.

How important are 16:9-enhanced transfers to you?
Extremely important - I will not buy a title unless it's 16x9 enhanced.
Very important - I wish all DVD's were 16:9-enhanced. C'mon studios! Get with the program!
I really don't care as long as the picture is detailed and clear
It's not important to me now, but might be in the future if I buy a widescreen TV.
I'm unsure what 16:9-enhanced or anamorphic means.

Frequently. It's the only way I rent DVDs.
Often, but I'd rather browse and rent locally if I had that option.
Occasionally, but only when local stores don't have what I want.
Very seldom.

I've never rented DVDs' online.
I doubt I'll ever rent a DVD online.

I currently own at least one Widescreen (16:9) display device.
I do not own a widescreen display, but plan on getting one eventually.

Titles that don't let me change audio tracks on the fly.
Studios that flip-flop between producing anamorphic titles and not.
Sound that defaults to Dolby Surround instead of DD 5.1
DVDs that glitch with my player and do strange things.
DVD-ROM features that I cannot access on my standalone DVD player..
Lack of Mac computer support for DVD-ROM extras.
Deviation by the studio from the original theatrical aspect ratio.
A spouse that doesn't let me listen to movies as loud as I'd like.

How do you feel about DVD wrapping and security stickers?
If the thief has a razor blade to steal a DVD from its case, what's the difference?
I can't believe how strong those damn wrappers are. I almost broke a tooth.
I'm fed up with studios assuming that I have criminal intent when I browse or play DVDs.
Enough of this madness!!
I wish I knew where to buy cool self-destructing adhesive tape like that.
I enjoy being angered and frustrated before I watch a new movie.
I'd like to wrap the executive who dreamed this #@!% up in it.
