"Powermac G4 with ATI Mobility Radeon to Sony VW 11HT"

Trying to get the two to talk togheter.

Tried with a simple DVI to VGA and VGA to BNC/RCA cable with no success.

Any experience?
Should I use a scaler?

The sony projector accepts a lot of resolutions including 720p an 1080i toghether with the more pc-like resolutions.

Of course interested in best quality. I use the sony with my DVD and the Powerpook should play some slideshows in best quality.
